ICE MACHINE CLEANER removes lime scale from ice making equipment quickly. Works safely on stainless steel, contains NO chlorine or chlorides and does not give off harsh fumes.
Authorized for use by the USDA in federally inspected meat and poultry plants. Ice Machine Cleaner improves ice capacity and quality by removing built-up scale that causes ice to stick to mechanisms and can cause jamming. Works great on ice making equipment, coffee brewers and humidifiers.
DIRECTIONS:
Turn off ice machine. Drain water reservoir and refill with fresh water, adding 4 ounces of Ice Machine Cleaner per 1 gallon of water in the system. (More cleaner may be needed if scale is extra heavy.
If equipment is cleaned regularly, less cleaner may be required.)
Start water circulating pumps only and run 15-30 minutes. Use a brush to apply cleaner to scaled surface not adequately contacted by circulating solution. After all scale has been removed, drain system. Refill system with clean water and flush thoroughly. Drain and return machine to service; discard first batch of ice.
DO NOT USE ON NICKEL PLATED OR GALVANIZED SURFACES.
